IMPORTANT INFORMATION
As a result of the lost instructional school days from Hurricane Sandy, all schools will now be open for full-day sessions from Wednesday, February 20th through Friday, February 22nd.  In addition, all elementary, intermediate/junior high schools and D75 schools will hold full day sessions on Tuesday, June 4, 2012 which was previously scheduled as a clerical half day. Due to the fact that PS/MS146 was closed for storm recovery a little longer, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 has been scheduled as an additional makeup day.

Attention Parents:  Our neighbors help in numerous ways such as keeping an eye on the school and school grounds.  Please respect our neighbors and their property by NOT parking illegally and blocking driveways or double parking.

Attendance and lateness are factors that clearly impact student achievement.  Students need to be in class to achieve at their best.  PLEASE ENSURE STUDENTS ATTEND SCHOOL EVERY DAY UNLESS THE STUDENT IS SICK.  Our GOAL FOR THIS YEAR IS 96% ATTENDANCE FOR THE ENTIRE SCHOOL.

NYCDOE Policy is that students MUST achieve a MINIMUM 90% ATTENDANCE RATE FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR.  Attendance is one of the factors  used in promotional decisions.

Reminder....Unless the student has an exemption approved by the Principal, all students are to wear their SCHOOL UNIFORM.  Thank you!
